Château Pineraie
According to ancient manuscripts, the Burc family has been based in Cahors since the 15th century and has owned land in the area ever since. Today, the fifth and sixth generations work hand in hand at Château Pineraie to produce Cahors wines that reflect the terroir.
The Château Pineraie vineyard covers 50 hectares, bringing together all the different types of soil that characterize the appellation, and is mainly planted with Malbec, the predominant grape variety in the region.
Château Pineraie produces four AOC Cahors wines, two made from 100% Malbec and two blends of Malbec and Merlot.
