Château Pineraie
According to ancient manuscripts, the Burc family has been settled in Cahors since the 15th century and has owned land in the area ever since. Today, the fifth and sixth generations work side by side at Château Pineraie to produce terroir-driven Cahors wines.
The Château Pineraie vineyard spans 50 hectares, encompassing all the soil types characteristic of the appellation, and is planted primarily with Malbec, the region’s dominant grape variety.
Château Pineraie produces four AOC Cahors wines: two made from 100% Malbec and two blends of Malbec and Merlot.
