"Equal parts Braucol and Syrah in this expressive cuvée (cherry, prune, sweet spices, coffee, undergrowth), which strikes a good balance between power and freshness on the palate, supported by a lovely tannic structure that allows us to look to the future with confidence." (Le Guide Hachette 2025).

About wine:
Braucol and Syrah are equally represented in this expressive cuvée (cherry, prune, sweet spices, coffee, undergrowth), which strikes a good balance between power and freshness on the palate, supported by a lovely tannic structure that allows us to look to the future with confidence.
About the estate:
Florentin and Andrée Vayssette, the grandparents, settled on the Chemin des Crêtes de Gaillac in 1930. Their son Jacques and Maryse took over the estate. Then their grandson Patrice and his wife Nathalie joined them to work the estate's 29 hectares of vineyards, which have been awarded the High Environmental Value label. A sure bet in the appellation.

Note and opinion by Mr. GILLES D. Published on 08/10/2025
Discover this wine with its slightly rustic and vigorous profile, lively and concentrated fruitiness reminiscent of blackcurrant, blueberry, and morello cherry, nuanced with oriental spices and a few smoky notes, underpinned by a tight and dense tannic structure. Medium-length fruity finish. Seems to need a little time to digest the aging and round out. To be reviewed later.
