Notes: RVF 14/20, Bettane & Desseauve 14/20
"Beautiful straw-gold color with green highlights. The nose is equally appealing, with quince aromas. Smooth on the palate, slightly smoky, with candied fruit notes. Full-bodied, smooth, and delicious (equal parts Petit Manseng and Gros Manseng). (Le Guide Bettane & Desseauve des Vins de France 2013)

Bettane & Desseauve

Rated estate (2018 guide) 2 stars (A serious and recommendable production, but a little more consistent and uniform than the previous one)

About the estate:

The Laplace brothers have successfully adapted the style of local wines to contemporary requirements, seeking greater balance and precision in their winemaking.

Rated estate Selected (Please note that this guide is a ranking and, as such, all the estates listed in it, even those without stars, represent, in our opinion, the excellence of French production.)

About the estate:

The Laplace family has been attached to this independent estate, one of the largest in the appellation, for three generations. These wines are assertive in a clear and well-defined style, without exuberance, reflecting a desire to produce very classic wines. They age with grace and harmony.
