"Made from a blend of 14 grape varieties from 17 Swartland vineyards: a treasure with very limited stock!"
"Very fresh and exciting, it reveals aromas of lemon cream, wild thyme, white pepper, sliced apple, pear, clove and crushed stone. Layered and creamy, complex, with full body and wonderful freshness brought by mineral notes and very subtle herbaceous nuances. Long, salty and structured. A blend of 14 grape varieties. Drink it or cellar it. (James Suckling 2025)

Wine rated (2025 guide) 95/100
About the wine:
For the first time, Palladius includes 20% fruit from West Coast limestone soils, which Sadie says makes the wine lighter and more mineral. "That was what was missing," he remarked. The blend now includes 14 varietals. The 2023 offers aromas of pressed yellow flowers and light nut and hazelnut scents in the background. The palate is well balanced, with a slightly honeyed texture on the attack. Wonderful depth, nervous, a little more acidic than the 22, with a long, fairly saline finish. If you can, let it age for three or four years in bottle. 2028-2050
