"[...] Remarkable freshness for an exceptionally hot vintage. Lots of Amalfi lemon fruit and a slightly salty mineral freshness for those who have patience. Long, earthy, and herbaceous finish. Drink now, but preferably from 2025 onwards." (James Suckling). This Riesling Grand Cru surprises, excites and delights the senses with its mineral structure and delicate notes of yellow fruit.

Food and wine pairings
Beyond his natural affinity for Alsatian cuisine, he gracefully highlights the salty flavors of seafood and loves the language of salt: seafood, saltwater and freshwater fish, sushi, sashimi, but also white meats with cream and mushrooms, goat's or sheep's cheese, soft cheese (Comté, aged Gouda, Parmesan), and more.
Bettane & Desseauve
Rated estate (2022 guide) 4 stars (Producers of very high quality, the pride of French vineyards)
About the estate:
Céline and Isabelle Meyer run the estate, long managed by their father Jean, with courage and discipline. Biodynamics shines through in their wines, which are light and refined, fresh and chiseled. The estate's two iconic grands crus are Hengst and Brand, where Riesling shines particularly brightly. Pinot Gris is part of a long tradition of dry wines, which are unfortunately not so common in Alsace.
