"Elegance, purity, and vibrant fruit: an extraordinary high-altitude cuvée available in limited quantities!"

“The Jardín de Hormigas Meteora 2021 opens with a crystalline, nuanced, and increasingly complex nose, dominated by aromas of blackberries, violets, lavender, and graphite. On the palate, it exhibits the fluid, airy intensity that characterizes the range, beautifully balancing density and lightness with an elegantly taut core. The finish is juicy, taut, and concentrated, combining pleasant richness with lively energy and mineral nuances. With aeration, this wine continues to gain in complexity, depth, and aromatic brilliance, offering a natural and refined expression of the Paraje Altamira. 2025–2041” (Robert Parker 2025)

About the wine:

Deep purple color. Aromas of red and black fruits, with hints of both floral and mineral notes—exceptional fruit purity and great expressiveness, without being overly sweet on the nose. I believe the mineral character is enhanced by the concrete tanks. Incredibly fine tannins, not silky, but like many layers of tissue paper. Extreme elegance and fruit purity, with the freshness of the terroir. Elegant, not at all ostentatious, but with great persistence and a deliciously dry finish. A beautiful wine with refined tannins. It’s worth every penny. A grand cru, even if it isn’t cheap. A wine that will appeal to those seeking fruit and those who prefer elegance—a beautiful balance. 2023–2029
