Atamisque Winery
"Atamisque" is a tree native to the Andes Mountains that grows wild around the winery and gave its name to this estate in Mendoza's Uco Valley.

Owned by John and Chantal Du Monceau since 2006, Bodega Atamisque has 70 hectares of vineyards in production.

Bodega Atamisque primarily produces Malbec, but also Chardonnay, Viognier, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon, and—more rare in Argentina—Cabernet Franc. Benefiting from a cooler climate due to the vineyard’s altitude (1,300 m) and thanks to the use of high-quality French oak barrels, the wines of Bodega Atamisque have a more European style, prioritizing fruit expression over extraction and concentration.
