Robert Parker

"The Mariflor Malbec 2012 has powerful lactic notes, aromas of ripe plums, blueberries, and lots of violets. Concentrated and ripe, it develops balsamic aromas over time. The palate is very compact, with no flaws. The tannins are abundant and the acidity is good, making the wine well-balanced. It is a modernized classic, fermented in concrete vats with indigenous yeasts and aged in barrels for 15 months. It will improve with time." (Wine Advocate 2015 - Robert Parker)

About wine:

Almost black. A charming, fragrant style with leather notes on the palate. Lots of tannins and acidity. A drying finish.

Great! Open three hours before serving. The tannins are smooth and the palate is very pleasant. The nose is relatively discreet. Keep for a few more years.
