Located south of the city of Mendoza, at the foot of the Andes Mountains, the Uco Valley is a vineyard with near-perfect climatic conditions, featuring low temperatures that allow for slow ripening. The soils of the Uco Valley are poor and rocky.
The Uco Valley’s vineyard plantings consist of international and indigenous grape varieties such as Torrontés. The red varieties (Malbec, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Pinot Noir) have a strong varietal character, supported by a touch of acidity. The white varieties (Sémillon, Riesling, Pinot Gris, and Chardonnay) offer fresh, fruity aromas.
