Uco Valley
Located south of the city of Mendoza, at the foot of the Andes Mountains, the Uco Valley is a vineyard with near-perfect climate conditions, with low temperatures that allow for slow ripening. The soils of the Uco Valley are poor and rocky.

The Uco Valley's vineyards are planted with international and indigenous grape varieties such as Torrontés. The red varieties (Malbec, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Pinot Noir) have a strong varietal character, supported by a hint of acidity. The whites (Sémillon, Riesling, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay) release fresh and fruity aromas.

The Uco Valley is home to Argentina's finest wineries, such as Catena Zapata, Clos de los Siete, Val de Flores, and others.
