Atamisque Winery
"Atamisque" is a tree native to the Andes Mountains that grows wild around the winery and has given its name to this estate in Mendoza's Uco Valley.

Owned by John and Chantal Du Monceau since 2006, Bodega Atamisque has 70 hectares of vineyards in production.

Bodega Atamisque mainly produces Malbec, but also Chardonnay, Viognier, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon and, more rarely in Argentina, Cabernet Franc. Benefiting from a cooler climate due to the altitude of the vineyard (1,300 m) and thanks to the use of high-quality French oak barrels, Bodega Atamisque wines are more European in style, favoring fruit expression over extraction and concentration.
