"An Argentinian malbec you could fall in love with according to Jancis Robinson!"
"Deliciously bright, pure and energetic, Malbec has a sweet fruit taste that could be red, purple, blue or black, but is simply ripe and, if it were a berry, would explode in the mouth. It tastes like someone playing the piano with chopsticks. It has a bit of the same brittle taste as melted milk chocolate when poured over frozen vanilla ice cream. It's fun and mountain fresh. You could fall in love with Argentine Malbec right here." (Jancis Robinson 2023)

About the wine:
Tasting the Crios Malbec 2022 alongside the new organic wine, it was easy to see that this Uco Valley wine (from Los Chacayes, Vista Flores, Los Árboles and Gualtallary Sur) is more subtle and has a different point of balance despite very similar parameters. Here, 40% of the volume spends eight months in used French oak barrels, but there's no aromatic influence from aging. It's fresh, balanced and juicy, but with a little more austerity and fine-grained tannins. It is clean, approachable and tasty. 2023-2025

About the wine:
A fresh, spicy Malbec with lots of redcurrants, red cherries and a hint of black olives. On the palate, it's linear and juicy, with medium body and a savory, fruity finish. Elegant tannins creep in. Drink now.
