"A bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon for connoisseurs: a delight to enjoy now or to let age for two decades..."
“This is a very good 707. Often a bit rustic, this one is more sophisticated than I remember. Powerful tannins with a hint of steel. Like a series of alloy ball bearings, it rolls across the palate with generous weight while delivering notes of iodine, bouquet garni, a touch of tapenade, and blackcurrant in all the right places. Rich and powerful, yet detailed and flavorful at the same time. The juicy character of the fruit effortlessly transcends the oak, foreshadowing a very promising future. A wonderful wine in the making. It will be even better after 2027.” (James Suckling 2023) - Delivery in a wooden case is available for orders of 6 bottles of this wine (depending on country and selected shipping method)

About the wine:
Delicious floral aromas blend with milk chocolate, blackcurrants, and plums, creating a subtly seductive bouquet. Fresh and lively, yet with great aromatic delicacy, it draws you in irresistibly. Supple and juicy, it is energetic and tannic, yet lively and precise, giving it a certain tension, but also plenty of flavor and bite. I love the Cabernet notes; this wine is refined and quite typical, with the recognizable signature of this great wine. Slender, charming, very chalky with plenty of minerality. Still young, but it fits very well within the context of a cooler vintage and is very pleasant to drink. Elegant throughout the tasting. 2024–2040

About the wine:
Deep blackish purple. A rich, satisfying nose. Smooth and velvety. This is undoubtedly a South Australian Cabernet, thousands of miles from Bordeaux, but it works. Full-bodied and appealing, without being overly dry on the finish. Although the official notes suggest this wine will be ready to drink starting in 2026, I believe it is ready to be enjoyed sooner than many others thanks to the maturity of its tannins. But I’m sure it will continue to improve. 2024–2044
