"A great success"
The 2020 vintage saw the completion of the estate's organic certification. The vines clearly wanted to reward the winegrowers for their extra efforts. The wine is clean and straightforward on the nose. After a beautiful attack on the palate, full-bodied and lively, the tannins are immediately fine and silky, supporting a tender and delicious texture that delicately coats the palate. The whole exudes a beautiful power without sacrificing harmony. A great success. " (Le Guide Hachette des Vins 2023)

About the estate:
An estate with a view of Mont Brouilly, whose vineyard, organic since 2020, covers 28 hectares, with plots in Côte-de-Brouilly, Morgon, Régnié, Chiroubles, and Beaujolais-Villages. Jean-Paul Joncy settled there in 1979, followed by his son Guillaume and daughter-in-law Sophie. Since 2018, they have also been selecting vintages in Beaujolais and Mâconnais from small family estates, their "winemaker friends."

About wine:
I am certainly amazed! The black cherry nose is both bright and deep, followed by an imposing, concentrated, and confidently dry palate with an impressive tannic structure that will take some time to soften. However, the finish is already breathtaking. Drink now, but best from 2024.
