La Chaize Castle
The largest estate among the Beaujolais crus, Château de La Chaize is located in the Monts du Beaujolais, in Odenas, and is the most renowned and largest estate in southern Burgundy: 150 hectares of vineyards in a single block.

Single-vineyard selections, the Clos Monopole La Chaize, cuvées paying homage to figures who have shaped the château’s history, conversion to organic farming, old vines… Château de La Chaize stands out for its Brouilly wines, a shining example of winemaking expertise. Certified HVE 3 since the 2018 vintage, the estate aims to transition to organic farming.

Château de La Chaize, previously owned by the Marquise de Roussy de Sales, was acquired by Christophe Gruy and his Maïa group. With a 150-hectare vineyard, Château de La Chaize is one of the most beautiful estates in Beaujolais, which the new owner aims to convert to organic farming. A grand ambition for great wines waiting to be discovered!
