In addition to the vineyards Laurent Martray cultivates under his own name, he also partners with Jean-Marie Demontaix on these Mas de Bagnols vineyards, superbly situated in a cirque at an altitude of 400 meters and perfectly south-facing. This lovely Brouilly cuvée, the Coeur de Fruit, offers a rich, indulgent body with a mineral character, featuring the appellation’s characteristic tight, subtle tannins, along with aromas of fresh fruit, cherries, and delicate peppery notes... Rated estate (2012 guide): 2** stars (Successful production)

About the estate:

“Laurent Martray is a very promising young Beaujolais producer. He is fortunate to cultivate his entire vineyard on the south-facing slope of Comillaty, with vines over 45 years old. With his perfect mastery of winemaking techniques, his wines are delicious, generous, and well-balanced. These Beaujolais wines are bursting with life, crisp, and invigoratingly fresh.”
