"The return of a sweet melody"

"This product is exceptional. Is it really less than 20 euros? It smells like opening an old-fashioned school pencil case... the smell of graphite and wood shavings, pencil erasers, cracked marbles, cold little fingers. It's delicate, but not too much so. Wild red berries. Freshness, soothing the throat. The tannins glide, thin and taut, through the brightness of the fruit, like mycorrhizal roots sewing silent networks of filaments from the red sky to the dark earth. This wine is truly magnificent." (Jancis Robinson 2023)

Wine rating (2023 guide) 93/100 (EDITORS' CHOICE)

About wine:

This Chénas combines well-integrated black fruit with herbaceous notes. Ruby in color, this wine has a fragrant nose of Alpine strawberry, cranberry, boysenberry, dried oak, black raspberry, violet, and forest floor. The palate is supple and offers expressive notes of black tea on the finish, leading to a long finish. This wine is concentrated on the nose and complex.

Well, it needs more maturity! A clear, non-tannic wine, very average. Gabriel
