"A numbered cuvée, produced only in certain vintages"

"Hand-harvested, whole-cluster fermentation, and 18 months of barrel aging—every detail has been carefully considered to create a complex and aromatic wine. On the nose, black fruits mingle with spices. These aromas (blackcurrant and pepper) also unfold on a refined, chiseled palate, with elegant tannins that extend the finish beautifully. A cuvée that certainly lacks neither distinction nor potential.” (Le Guide Hachette des Vins 2021)

Guide Hachette des vins

Rated wine (2021 guide): 2 stars (Outstanding wine)

Rated estate (2021 guide) Award-winning wines (This producer’s wines are regularly recognized by the guide)

About the wine:

Hand-harvested, whole-cluster fermentation, and 18 months of barrel aging—every detail has been carefully considered to create a complex and aromatic wine. On the nose, black fruits mingle with spices. These aromas (blackcurrant and pepper) also unfold on a refined, chiseled palate, with elegant tannins that extend the finish beautifully. A cuvée that certainly lacks neither distinction nor potential.

About the estate:

The Bourceau family has been in the wine business for six generations, and Wilfried has been at the helm since 2017. A year later, this young winemaker—who is deeply committed to environmental issues—decided to convert the entire vineyard to organic farming.
