With its intense purple color and ruby highlights, the wine reveals a delicate nose of blackcurrant and blueberry with notes of roasted mocha. Generous and dense, the fresh palate with racy tannins offers a long, balanced structure with notes of toasted black fruit and licorice. Deliciously flavorful.

About the estate:

Formerly owned by the Perponcher family, who were forced to flee to Holland after the revocation of the Edict of Nantes, it was acquired in 1990 by the Despagne company. A vineyard located on a clay-siliceous plateau overlooking the Dordogne, essential for Bordeaux (in all three colors), Bordeaux Supérieur, and Entre-Deux-Mers.
