The Bouillerot Castle Located in Gironde-sur-Dropt, this estate has been producing wine since 1874. It is currently run by Thierry Bos, who has taken over the reins of this property, which has been in his family since 1935. Since 2013, the 8-hectare estate has been farmed organically on soils that are predominantly clay-limestone. The excellent exposure of the vineyards Bouillero CastleThis, combined with an exceptional climate, provides optimal conditions for producing high-quality wines.

Committed to "forgotten" grape varieties that are becoming increasingly rare over time, Thierry Bos works with Carménère, Malbec, and Petit Verdot in addition to the traditional Cabernet Franc and Merlot. At Château de Bouillerot, he crafts wines full of character and is regularly recognized for his wines, particularly his sweet Palais d'Or cuvée in Côtes-de-Bordeaux-Saint-Macaire and his red Bordeaux wines. The quality of his wines continues to rise.
