"Rated 90/100 at an attractive price!"

“Grown on land originally planted with vines by the Romans, this wine is smoky, dense, and richly dark. Bold plum fruit and tannins on the verge of softening are the defining characteristics of this wine, which is primarily made from Merlot. ” (Wine Enthusiast 2021) - Delivery in a wooden crate is available for orders of 6 bottles of this wine (depending on country and selected shipping method)

Wine rated (2022 guide) 90/100

About the wine:

The nose is slightly closed at first, but the palate reveals a good concentration of blackcurrant and blackberry. It has lovely density and a succulent smoothness. A touch of oak and spice lends the tannins a bit of rusticity, but there’s a solid core, and I love the bright cherry notes. Well-structured. 2022–2029

Wine rated (2021 guide) 89/100

About the wine:

A 70-hectare vineyard on clay-loam soils. The average age of the vines is 38 years. In 2019, production reached 42 hl/ha, or approximately 285,000 bottles. The wine has retained its youthful and fresh character compared to the en primeur tasting. It has spirit, freshness, and tannins that lend it body. A wine of character that needs time to unfold. 2023–2034

Vert de Vin

Wine rated (2020 guide) 88-89/100 (Jonathan Choukroun Chicheportiche)

About the wine:

The nose is powerful and moderately concentrated. It reveals notes of ripe blackcurrant, wild berries, and, more subtly, boysenberry, combined with delicate hints of ripe, juicy morello cherry and violet, as well as subtle hints of anise and gray pepper. On the palate, it is fruity and balanced, with a lively acidity, juiciness, and a rich, indulgent character. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of juicy, ripe blackcurrant, small black berries, and hints of blackberry and violet, combined with touches of tea, crushed raspberry, and subtle hints of licorice, spices, and toast. Good length. The tannins are very finely defined.
