“Le Blanc N°1 2024 is delicate, textured, and smooth. About the estate:
Renowned wine merchant founded in 1840 by Pierre Dourthe, owner of several estates (Belgrave in the Haut-Médoc, Le Boscq in Saint-Estèphe, Rahoul in the Graves, Grand Barrail Lamarzelle Figeac in Saint-Émilion Grand Cru) and producer of high-quality branded wines (Dourthe No. 1, La Grande Cuvée, Terroirs d’Exception). Dense, lively, and crisp with a touch of acidity, the palate is very expressive, revealing lovely citrus and white fruit flavors with a coating richness in the background. A refreshing, more mineral-driven finish. The value for money is as appealing as ever. Tasted today for its liveliness with tempura-fried langoustine tails in sweet-and-sour sauce. Rating = 3.9.
