Château Haut Barade
Château Haut Barade is a small family estate located in the commune of Mouliets, close to Castillon la Bataille, on the alluvial plains of the Dordogne at the foot of the limestone plateau.
Convinced of the quality of this emblematic Médoc grape variety, in 1995 Mr. Yonnet decided to plant 5 hectares of Petit Verdot on the sandy-gravelly terroirs of the Haut Barade estate.
He therefore decided to produce a cuvée exclusively from these grapes in order to express the full richness and personality of this often little-known grape variety.
