Native to the Médoc, where it is found in many classified growths, Petit Verdot was once considered a variety unique to the Médoc. It is a variety that is little known on its own but nonetheless of very high quality, adding body and color when blended into wines meant for aging. Here, on its own, Petit Verdot displays notable varietal aromas such as raspberry, violet, and licorice. A wine with generous texture and a distinctive character.
