Château La Bienveillance

The grape varieties planted and used at Château La Bienveillance are Sémillon for the white wine, covering 1.20 hectares; Merlot, which accounts for 70% of the vineyard; and Cabernet Franc, which rounds out the portfolio to create blend wines with aging potential.

Marine and Florent Justo, the owners of Château La Bienveillance, like to describe themselves as committed winemakers. Since purchasing the property in 2016, managing the vineyard using organic farming methods was immediately a given for them, even though certification is only effective starting with the 2019 vintage. The transition to biodynamic farming is planned for 2020. Their motivation is deep-seated and visceral. It is not merely a passing trend, but a return to true values and common sense.
