Château La Rose du Pin

Château La Rose du Pin is owned by the Ducourt family. It all began in 1858, in a small village in the Entre-Deux-Mers region... The Ducourt family, owners of Château des Combes, settled in the hamlet of Le Hourc, in the commune of Ladaux. Pierre Ducourt, Bernard Ducourt's great-grandfather, arrived at the family estate in 1885. His son Louis succeeded him in 1919; at that time, the estate comprised 9 hectares of vines.

The arrival of Henri Ducourt at the estate in 1951 marked the beginning of a new era for Vignobles Ducourt. An ambitious and courageous winegrower, he worked with his three children (Bernard, Marie-Christine, and Philippe) to revitalize the business and turn the family vineyard into one of the largest wine-growing estates in the Bordeaux region (440 hectares, 12 châteaux).

The Ducourt spirit has always been committed to promoting the expression of the terroir, thanks to the implementation of increasingly innovative techniques in the service of quality. In line with the great wines of Bordeaux, all of the estates, including Château La Rose du Pin, have been committed to quality since 1996. They are certified according to the ISO 9001 standard, a corporate management standard that guarantees the quality of their expertise.
