Wine rated (2024 guide) 88/100

Rated estate (2022 guide) Recommended

About the wine:

Pleasant notes of plum and toasted oak characterize this well-balanced wine, though it isn’t particularly deep or complex. But it won’t break the bank (in France, it sells for around €10). 2026–2030

Hachette Wine Guide

Guide Hachette des vins

Wine rated (2026 guide) 2* Stars (Outstanding wine)

Rated estate (2023 guide) Award-winning wines (This producer’s wines are regularly recognized by the guide)

About the wine:

This is a superb, straightforward wine, characterized by a structure that is both powerful and elegant, with beautifully integrated oak. Ripe fruit is also present, along with freshness and a lovely finish. Perfect with a roast rack of lamb. 2027–2032

About the estate:

A sprawling 92-hectare vineyard in Entre-deux-Mers, founded in 1920 by the great-grandparents. Its strengths include a state-of-the-art winery completed in 2016 and the complementary skills of Christophe Vincent (in the vineyards) and Fabien (in the cellar). Saint-Vincent is said to inspire them, but it is rather their advanced technical training and high standards that make this estate a benchmark for Bordeaux and Bordeaux Supérieur.
