"Another revelation from the southern third of the Médoc, this blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Petit Verdot is an elegant 2010 with impressive maturity, a medium-bodied and textured palate, and abundant notes of cedar and blackcurrant intertwined with nuances of tobacco leaves, licorice, and incense. Complex, evolved, and already ready to drink, it will continue to offer pleasure to consumers for at least 5 to 7 years." (Wine Advocate - Robert Parker)

About wine:
Vincent Mulliez, who passed away in May 2010, sadly did not live to see this magnificent harvest. His wife Isabelle and their children are now continuing his work, with the same high standards, judging by this remarkable 2010 vintage. With a dark, dense and intense garnet color, the wine reveals a delicious bouquet of black fruits (blueberry), vanilla and toast, followed by a full-bodied and rich palate, supported by tannins as smooth as silk. Already delicious, it nevertheless deserves three to five years of patience to be enjoyed at its best.
About the estate:
In recent years, this small appellation in the southern Médoc has established itself as a sure bet. The wines here have been consistently excellent for several vintages now. A distinctive feature is the high proportion of Petit Verdot in the blend, a grape variety that produces a highly original cuvée. Offering excellent value for money, the wines produced here deserve a place in any wine lover's cellar.
