“Another standout from the southern third of the Médoc, this blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Petit Verdot is an elegant 2010, displaying impressive ripeness, a medium-bodied, textured palate, and abundant notes of cedar and blackcurrant intertwined with hints of tobacco leaf, licorice, and incense. Complex, mature, and already ready to drink, it will continue to delight the palate for at least 5 to 7 years.” (Wine Advocate - Robert Parker)

Bettane & Desseauve
Wine rated (2015 guide) 16/20 (Very good wine)
About the wine:
A subtly oaky nose. Superb on the palate, smooth and elegant, with lovely tannins—a real success.
Guide Hachette des vins
Wine rated (2014 guide) 2** stars (Outstanding wine)
Rated estate (2022 guide) Award-winning wines (This producer’s wines are regularly recognized by the guide)
About the wine:
Vincent Mulliez, who passed away in May 2010, was unfortunately unable to witness this fine harvest. His wife Isabelle and their children are now carrying on his legacy, with the same high standards, as evidenced by this remarkable 2010 vintage. With a deep, dense, and intense garnet color, the wine reveals a rich bouquet of dark fruits (blueberry), vanilla, and toasted notes, followed by a full-bodied and rich palate, supported by tannins as smooth as silk. Already delicious, it nevertheless deserves three to five years of aging to be enjoyed at its best.
About the estate:
In recent years, this small estate in the southern Médoc has established itself as a reliable choice. The wines here have shown unfailing consistency over the past few vintages. A distinctive feature is the vineyard’s heavy reliance on Petit Verdot, a grape variety that also gives rise to a unique cuvée. Offering excellent value for money, the wines produced here are a must-have for any wine lover’s collection.
