Château Cantenac Brown
Château Cantenac Brown is a vineyard in the Bordeaux region whose origins date back to the early 19th century, when John Lewis Brown bought the vineyard and chose to build a castle in the English Renaissance (Tudor) style, reminiscent of his Scottish origins. In 2019, the Le Lous family took over the reins of the Château. José Sanfins is leading this new project and significant investments are being made to bring a contemporary and bold vision to viticulture.
The management of the Château Cantenac Brown vineyard has become more environmentally friendly: "integrated pest management" is now fully practiced there.

The Cantenac Brown vineyard covers 48 hectares of gravelly soil, typical of the Margaux appellation. The grape varieties are divided between Cabernet Sauvignon (65%), Cabernet Franc (5%), which produces fine wines with an intense bouquet, suitable for aging, and Merlot (30%), which brings color, richness, and roundness.
