Château Labégorce
Located along the famous Médoc Château Route, Labégorce is situated within the Margaux appellation. Its 70 hectares of vineyards border Grand Cru Classé estates such as Lascombes and the legendary Château Margaux. The terroir is typical of Margaux—sandy-gravelly and sandy-loamy—where Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot thrive particularly well.
Since 1989, the Perrodo family has restored this magnificent estate to its former glory and even acquired Château Marquis d'Alesme in 2006. Château Labégorce reveals a charming style with excellent structure, vibrant fruit, and great finesse. This great wine from the Margaux AOC will be at its best in 5 to 15 years, depending on the vintage.
