Following the reorganization of the Perrodo family’s Margaux estates, Labégorce-Zédé merged with Château Labégorce to form a single entity. Marjolaine de Coninck has served as general manager of the estates since 2010. The wines produced retain their strong identity, but now exhibit greater modernity, finesse, and elegance.

About the estate:
A beautiful neoclassical building standing in the middle of its vineyard, just outside Margaux on the road to Pauillac, this estate has benefited from significant investments since its purchase in 1989 by the Perrodo family, who also own Château Marquis d'Alesme. The 2009 merger with Château Labégorce Zédé allowed it to reclaim its original vineyard (70 hectares), the one it held prior to the 1794 division. Nathalie Perrodo-Samani took over the family estates in 2006, following the death of her father, Hubert.

A charming and supple wine, Château Labégorce 2025 is a blend of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot, 6% Cabernet Franc, and 4% Petit Verdot, with 30% aged in new French oak barrels. Its deep ruby color with plum highlights is accompanied by a lovely bouquet of red and blue fruits, aromatic herbs, and tobacco, with well-integrated woody notes. On the palate, it is round and textured, with supple tannins and exceptional length.
