“A Cru Bourgeois with an impressive track record!”

“The bouquet first reveals its aging through notes of caramel. These give way to notes of black berries after a little aeration. The wine is elegant, creamy, and perfectly balanced thanks to smooth, well-integrated tannins. A full-bodied, fresh, and charming wine that deserves a little aging to fully develop. ” (Yves Beck 2021)

Wine rated (2021 guide) 90/100

About the wine:

This wine is rather chewy and austere, with its tannins and oaky character, but it shows good depth and intensity. A hint of tomato leaves lingers on the finish. Best enjoyed after 2022.

Wine Green

Vert de Vin

Wine rated (2022 guide) 89-90/100 (Jonathan Choukroun Chicheportiche)

About the wine:

The nose is quite aromatic. It features notes of creamy blackberry, juicy/fresh strawberry, and, to a lesser extent, flowers, combined with hints of nutmeg, toasted notes, and subtle hints of fleshy/crushed blackcurrant. The palate is mineral, fruity, and very finely structured, offering juiciness, a slight lingering quality, and a mineral backbone. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of juicy/fresh blackberry, fresh raspberry, and, more subtly, small red berries, combined with hints of iris, fresh rose, subtle hints of racy minerality, as well as a subtle hint of toast and almond. Good length.
