Château Les Grands Chênes
Château Les Grands Chênes is often referred to as “the Pearl of the Médoc.” Owned by Bernard Magrez, this Cru Bourgeois is situated on the famous gravelly ridge of Saint-Christoly in the Médoc. An exceptional terroir gives its wine its unique charm.
The vineyards of Château Les Grands Chênes, situated around a former 16th-century fortress, cover 12 hectares on soil composed of 60% gravel and 40% clay-limestone, with an average vine age of 30 years. These same vines are tended with respect for the terroir and the environment, avoiding all chemical products and favoring limited yields to achieve optimal grape quality.
