Château Clos de Boüard
Coralie de Boüard, who spent her entire childhood in Saint-Émilion at Château Angélus, carries on the family tradition and developed a passion for wine through her father, working alongside him at the estate for 10 years.
She took over the management of Château La Fleur de Boüard in 2012, followed by Château Clos de Boüard, which the family purchased in 2016, with the aim of passing on her knowledge and passion to her children. A dedicated winemaker, Coralie de Boüard now seeks to make the most of her terroir and the lands of her childhood.
Château Clos de Boüard spans approximately 30 hectares in the Montagne Saint-Emilion appellation, in the commune of Parsac, sharing a magnificent clay-limestone terroir with renowned estates such as Châteaux Fombrauge, Fleur Cardinale, Trolong Mondot, and Croix de Labrie. The estate consists of 19.62 hectares of Merlot vines, 2.59 hectares of Cabernet Sauvignon, and 7.64 hectares of Cabernet Franc.
The latter remains today a grape variety of great importance in the blending of their Château Clos de Boüard and Dame de Boüard vintages, as well as in the blending of the illustrious Château Angélus, a hallmark of historic and family-based expertise.
