Guide Hachette des vins
Rated estate (2020 guide) Award-winning wines (This producer's wines are regularly recognized by the guide)
About the estate:
Coralie de Boüard spent her childhood at Château Angélus (Saint-Émilion Premier Grand Cru Classé A) and worked there alongside her father in communications, marketing, and sales. In 2014, she took over the management of Château La Fleur de Boüard (Lalande-de-Pomerol), then in 2016 she bought a 30-hectare vineyard in Montagne-Saint-Émilion: Château Clos de Boüard (formerly Château Tour Musset)."
RVF - La Revue du Vin de France / Guide des Meilleurs Vins de France
Rated estate (2017 guide) Estate to watch
About the estate:
Coralie de Boüard moves to Montagne. This 30-hectare vineyard in Montagne-Saint-Emilion was purchased from the Castel family in 2016 by Coralie, the eldest daughter of Hubert de Boüard. With a degree in international trade, she trained in winemaking at Angélus and La Fleur de Boüard. Clos de Boüard benefits from high-performance equipment (stainless steel vats and barrel cellar). Some of the 2016 vintage was vinified entirely in barrels. This was a vintage of transition, vinified with grapes grown by the former owners. However, the quality and finesse of the 2016 tannins already suggest that this will be a distinguished vintage."

About wine:
This bouquet is very fresh, with notes of red berries, cherries, and blackcurrants. Juicy attack. The aromas are well reflected on the palate. La Dame de Boüard has tight but fine tannins that provide good support alongside the acidic structure. Refreshing and slightly salty finish. An inviting and fresh wine. 2022-2033
Vert de Vin
Wine rated (2020 guide) 90-91/100 (Jonathan Choukroun Chicheportiche)
About wine:
The nose is elegant, rich and offers a certain richness as well as a lovely finesse of grain. There are notes of crushed strawberry, crushed blackberry and, more subtly, blueberry, combined with touches of bright purple plum, hints of caramelization and chocolate, a subtle hint of vanilla and an imperceptible hint of coffee. The palate is fruity, elegant and racy, offering a lovely acidic structure, tension, minerality and a fine texture. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackcurrant, blackberry and, more subtly, violet, combined with hints of redcurrant, lilac and subtle touches of licorice, toast, chocolate, an imperceptible hint of coffee (in the background) and a fine salinity/iodine (in the background). Good length. The tannins are elegant, precise, and finely firm. A lovely salinity on the finish/persistence.
