Château Batailley
Château Batailley, a 5th Growth in the 1855 classification, is one of the jewels in the crown of the Castéja and Borie-Manoux families.
The estate takes its name from the battle that took place in 1453 on the Château’s vineyards.
The grounds of Château Batailleywere designed in the 19th century by Barillet-Deschamps, landscape architect to Napoleon III.
Batailley is a classic Pauillac, with a deep ruby color, good structure, and pronounced notes of blackcurrant.
