Batailley Castle
Château Batailley, ranked 5th Grand Cru Classé in 1855, is one of the jewels in the crown of the Castéja and Borie-Manoux family.

The name of this property comes from the battle that took place in 1453 on the Château's vineyards.
The grounds of Château Batailleywere designed in the 19th century by Barillet-Deschamps, Napoleon III's landscape architect. Batailley is a classic Pauillac, with a deep ruby color, good structure, and pronounced notes of blackcurrant.
