Rated estate (2020 guide) Award-winning wines (This producer’s wines regularly receive awards from the guide)
About the wine:
Made primarily from Cabernet Sauvignon (60%), this wine is still young and its tannins remain firm. However, it is sufficiently well-rounded and aromatic to soon reveal its elegance.
About the estate:
Planted in the mid-1980s on gravelly soil that belonged to Montesquieu in the 18th century, this vineyard is managed by Éric Perrin, who also oversees Carbonnieux.

Wine Spectator
Wine rated (2019 guide) 90/100 (Very good wine)
About the wine:
Ripe and rounded on the palate, with polished notes of plum and blackcurrant framed by savory hints of red meat—specifically, a subtly grained flat iron steak—that linger throughout the clean, elegant finish.
