"The 2007 is elegant and refined, with integrity." (RVF Le Guide des Meilleurs Vins de France 2009) This estate, neighboring Château l'Arrosée, produced this excellent Saint-Emilion Grand Cru in 2007, draped in a dark garnet color with brick-red highlights. With a lovely fresh nose of intense red fruits and a hint of smoke with toasted nuances, the wine is frank, round, rich, and very distinctive, with a long finish on melted, elegant tannins. A Saint-Emilion Grand Cru, ready to drink, at this price, is an excellent deal!
