"The 2007 is elegant and refined, with a sense of integrity." (RVF Guide to the Best Wines of France 2009) This estate, neighboring Château l'Arrosée, produced this excellent Saint-Emilion Grand Cru in 2007, draped in a dark garnet hue with brick-red highlights. With a lovely fresh nose of intense red fruit and a hint of smokiness with toasty notes, the wine is straightforward, round, and full-bodied, with a distinct character and a long finish featuring smooth, elegant tannins. A Saint-Emilion Grand Cru ready to drink at this price is an excellent bargain!
