"The 2007 is elegant and refined, with a sense of integrity." (RVF Guide to the Best Wines of France 2009) This estate, neighboring Château l’Arrosée, produced this excellent Saint-Emilion Grand Cru in 2007, with a deep garnet color and brick-red highlights. With a lovely, fresh nose of intense red fruits and a hint of smokiness with toasty nuances, the wine is straightforward, round, full-bodied, and very distinctive, with a long finish featuring smooth, elegant tannins. A Saint-Emilion Grand Cru ready to drink at this price — it’s an excellent deal!
