Hachette Wine Guide rating: 2** (Outstanding wine) + Favorite
"Eighteen months in vats have produced a dark garnet wine with an expressive and complex nose combining ripe fruit and spices (clove). The palate also has much to offer: richness, plenty of volume and density, a solid but silky tannic structure, and length. A Saint-Émilion full of elegance and depth, which can be enjoyed at its best in three or four years, paired with a shoulder of lamb with mild spices, for example. (Le Guide Hachette des Vins 2014)

Tasted in March 2016: good concentration, good development (intense aromas of ripe red fruit): at €8 ex-cellar, excellent value for money.

A beautiful dark color. A fairly fruity nose. The wine is pleasant. However, I find it lacks depth and length.

Review and opinion by Mr. ROBIN J. Published on 06/05/2014

A pleasant wine that seems typical of the appellation to me. I liked its nose and its roundness on the palate. The tannins are not too pronounced and the overall impression is quite silky. It's a shame that it doesn't linger a little longer on the palate. Good value for money, which I don't regret.

A genuine St. Emilion. Still a little young...but I couldn't resist. A château to watch.

Review and opinion by Mr. LUDOVIC U. Published on 12/23/2013

Very alcoholic and quite aggressive acidity. Maybe I got a bad bottle, I bought two. The second one is in the cellar, we'll see in 3-4 years...
