Rating from the Hachette Wine Guide: 2** (Remarkable Wine) + Editor’s Choice
“Eighteen months in the tank have produced a dark garnet-colored wine with an expressive and complex nose blending ripe fruit and spices (cloves). The palate also has much to offer: richness, plenty of volume and density, a solid yet silky tannic structure, and length. A Saint-Émilion full of elegance and depth, which will be at its best in three or four years, paired with a shoulder of lamb seasoned with mild spices, for example. Tasted in March 2016: good concentration, good development (intense aromas of ripe red fruits): at €8 direct from the estate, excellent value for money

A beautiful deep color. A fairly fruity nose. The wine is pleasant. However, I find it lacks depth and length.

A pleasant wine that strikes me as typical of the appellation. I liked its aroma and its roundness on the palate. The tannins aren’t too pronounced, and the wine has a fairly silky texture. It’s a shame the finish isn’t a bit longer. It offers good value for money, and I don’t regret buying it.

A true St-Émilion. Still a bit young... but I couldn't resist. A château to watch

Very alcoholic with quite sharp acidity. Maybe I just got a bad bottle—I bought two. The second one is in the cellar; we’ll see in 3–4 years...
