Château Côte de Baleau
Château Côte de Baleau is located on a clay-limestone plateau in the heart of the Saint-Émilion appellation. Its 18 hectares of vineyards are planted with 80% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Franc, and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon. In the INAO’s most recent classification in 2012,Château Côte de Baleau wasawarded the distinction of Grand Cru Classé de Saint-Émilion.

Then, a year later in 2013, the Cuvelier family—which owns Clos Fourtet (1er Grand Cru Classé of Saint-Émilion) and Poujeaux (AOC Moulis-en-Médoc)—acquired the estate. With the guidance of consulting oenologist Michel Rolland, the family produces wines with a distinctive, well-rounded, and expressive character. Consistently high in quality, Château Côte de Baleau offers excellent value for the price.
