Côte de Baleau Castle
Château Côte de Baleau is located on a clay-limestone plateau in the heart of the Saint-Émilion appellation. Its 18 hectares of vines are planted with 80% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Franc, and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon. In the latest INAO classification of 2012,Château Côte de Baleau wasawarded the distinction of Grand Cru Classé de Saint-Émilion.

Then, a year later in 2013, the Cuvelier family, which owns Clos Fourtet (1er Grand Cru Classé de St-Émilion) and Poujeaux (AOC Moulis en Médoc), acquired the property. With the help of consultant oenologist Michel Rolland, they produce wines with a distinctive, complex and expressive character. Château Côte de Baleau offers good value for money and consistent quality.
