Château Rol Valentin
In June 1994, Eric Prissette, a former professional soccer player, acquired Château Rol Valentin, a Gironde estate located in the heart of the Saint-Émilion vineyards, surrounded by 7.3 hectares of vines. He sold the property in 2009 to Alexandra and Nicolas Robin; at that time, Château Rol Valentin was among the top wines of the Saint-Émilion Grand Cru appellation.
Impressive in their concentration and acclaimed by critics, the wines ofChâteau Rol Valentinare in constant evolution. Always striving for finesse and aromatic purity to the delight of wine lovers, Château Rol Valentin produces precise wines, the result of a blend of two distinct soil types (ancient sand over clay and clay-limestone) and eleven cadastral parcels. A wooden vat is assigned to each plot of each grape variety.
