Véronique Corporandy, a talented technical director, embodies the commitment to quality championed by the La Mondiale insurance group, which owns the estate. Since 2012, the estate has been part of the Château Cadet-Piola vineyard and now owns some 30 hectares in the heart of the Saint-Émilion plateau, allowing it to increase its wine production without compromising its style. Today, the 2019 vintage, with its vitality and energy, stands as a model of its kind. The wine tourism experience lives up to expectations.

At the entrance to the village of Saint-Émilion, on the northern slope that gently descends toward the sandy shores, the Soutard vineyard—a single contiguous block of 30 hectares on the edge of the limestone plateau—has been owned by the AG2R La Mondiale group since 2006. The viticultural practices have been completely overhauled since the acquisition from the Des Ligneris family: grubbing up and replanting at 7,500 vines per hectare, trellising, pruning methods, cover crops, soil management, workforce organization, and an organic approach… Véronique Corporandy, cellar master, and Olivier Brunel, operations director, can be proud of the results. Whether the vintage is hot or cold, Soutard’s exceptional terroir responds accordingly. At the forefront of wine tourism, Soutard welcomes more than 20,000 visitors a year.

Soutard 2025 captures all the qualities of this terroir and takes them to the next level. Aromas of red and purple fruits, lavender, rose petals, and a hint of spice come through first, supported by supple, silky tannins that enhance the impression of finesse. All the elements are perfectly balanced.
