"Experts are full of praise: very good, magnificent, delicious..."
"Dark and brooding aromas on the nose, a beautiful smooth, tight and full texture on the palate with fine but dense tannins that give the fruit a chewy texture. Round and straightforward with savory notes of black licorice, dark chocolate, vanilla and clove spices that mark the finish thanks to the Petit Verdot. A bold style full of character with everything it needs for now. Wait a few years before opening." (Decanter 2022) - Delivery in wooden crates is available for orders of 6 bottles of this wine (depending on the country and shipping method selected).

Rated estate (2016 guide) Award-winning wines (This producer's wines are regularly recognized by the guide)
About the estate:
One of the largest estates in the appellation, covering 24 hectares surrounding a shaded park and an 18th-century château in the Figeac area, between Libourne and Saint-Émilion. A cru first mentioned in 1886 and classified since 1955. Industrialist Alain Château, its fifth owner, arrived in 2005 and renovated the entire estate, including the vineyard and buildings, enlisting the services of Denis Dubourdieu.
Wine Enthusiast
Wine rated (2022 guide) 93/100
About wine:
This is a delicious wine, bursting with overripe Merlot and rich tannins. The structure is hidden behind this generous fruitiness, while spices and pepper add a touch of exoticism. The wine is ready to develop. Drink from 2025 onwards.
Vinous
Wine rated (2022 guide) 92/100
About wine:
Yon-Figeac 2019 is magnificent. Overripe black cherry, plum, leather, spices, menthol, chocolate, and dried herbs are at the forefront of this Saint-Émilion, which shows the more exuberant side of the year. There is real depth and substance. Sweet spices, cedar, and tobacco develop through to the powerful finish. 2024–2039
James Suckling
Wine rated (2021 guide) 93/100
About wine:
Aromas of cherries and berries with hints of bark and dried flowers. Mushrooms too. The wine is medium-bodied, with ultra-fine tannins and a creamy, polished finish. Lovely texture and great finesse, without compromising structure and length. Drink in 2024, but it will also age very well.
Jean-Marc Quarin
Wine rated (2023 guide) 92/100
About wine:
Dark, intense, beautiful, and deep color. Very aromatic nose with lovely ripe and fresh fruitiness. Meticulous on the palate, delicately fleshy in the middle, the wine evolves to become juicy, flavorful, both mellow and dynamic. It is long, very good, and full of flavor.
Vert de Vin
Wine rated (2021 guide) 91-92/100 (Jonathan Choukroun Chicheportiche)
About wine:
The nose is fresh and offers a little concentration, intensity and depth. There are notes of pulpy wild blackberry, gray pepper and, more subtly, crushed raspberry, combined with hints of blackcurrant, lily, spices and a discreet touch of camphor and licorice. The palate is fruity, balanced and offers juiciness, acidity, minerality, freshness, a certain depth, a little tension, richness, freshness and delicacy on the touch. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, crushed raspberry and, more subtly, pulpy redcurrant, combined with hints of lily, licorice, chocolate and subtle hints of toasted almond. Good length. A subtle hint of saltiness on the finish/persistence.
