Château Moulin de la Rose

Château Moulin de la Rose is a vineyard located in the town of Saint-Julien Beychevelles, in the Bordeaux region. It has been owned by the Delon family since 1971. With 4.8 hectares of vineyards, Château Moulin de la Rose is a small estate in terms of size, but this does not prevent it from producing a red wine of exceptional quality within the Saint-Julien appellation.

The vineyards of Château Moulin de la Rose, interspersed among those of the appellation’s greatest wines, rest on Garonne gravel soil. The grape varieties consist of 65% Cabernet Sauvignon and 35% Merlot, resulting in a tannic wine that nevertheless retains great finesse. At Château Moulin de la Rose, the utmost care is given to the vines, and the harvest is done by hand.
