"An emblematic figure of white wines in Bordeaux, the Dubourdieu family offers a 2018 of very high quality!"

"Doisy-Daëne 2018 is exuberant and intensely aromatic from the outset. It overflows with sweet floral notes, apple pie, pineapple and mint. Bright and fresh, with remarkable presence and richness, Doisy-Daëne 2018 is simply fabulous. Aeration allows it to fully reveal its texture and depth. It takes quite a dose of mastery to resist the temptation to taste this 2018 at a professional tasting, as it's the kind of wine I prefer to savor for hours on end." (Vinous 2021) - Delivery in wooden case possible for orders of 6 bottles of this wine (depending on country and shipping method selected)

Wine rated (2025 guide) 95/100

Domaine rated (2011 guide) 2*Stars (These great estates, often blessed with fabulous terroirs, are must-haves which, thanks to their consistency and the excellence of their production, must be included in the cellars of discerning wine lovers).

About the wine:

A lovely nose of fresh pineapple, clean and pure, with a fine quality of liqueur and precise fruit. While the elegance of Barsac is never in doubt, this wine is quite supple, more supple than full, more restrained than voluminous on the palate. At this stage, it does not fully convey the energy of Barsac's limestone.

About the domain :

"Denis Dubourdieu masterfully vinifies a harvest that is always harvested with precision, at a time when noble rot offers the best compromise between sugar richness and aromatic finesse... The wines display a purity and elegance that make them all the more sought-after, while prices remain reasonable.

About the wine:

On the nose, delicate aromas of lemon zest and dried apricot, both creamy and honeyed. On the palate, a lovely, singing freshness, as pure as water from a rock, with a long, sweet finish that carries you away.

About the wine:

What elegance and subtlety in this bouquet! It has a chalky edge and inviting notes of chestnuts, preserved lemons and flowers. Subtlety and finesse are also omnipresent on the palate. The wine has charm, precision and a structure that ideally carries the aromatic character through to the finish. A wine that perfectly reconciles the present and the future. 2023-2044
