"An iconic name in Bordeaux white wines, the Dubourdieu family offers a 2018 vintage of exceptional quality!"

"Doisy-Daëne 2018 is exuberant and intensely aromatic right from the start. It is bursting with sweet floral notes, apple pie, pineapple, and mint. Bright and beautifully fresh, with remarkable presence and great richness, Doisy-Daëne 2018 is simply fabulous. Aeration allows it to fully reveal its texture and depth. It takes a great deal of self-control to resist the temptation to taste this 2018 during a professional tasting, as it is the kind of wine I prefer to savor for hours. (Vinous 2021) - Delivery in wooden crates is available for orders of 6 bottles of this wine (depending on the country and shipping method selected).

Wine rated (2025 guide) 95/100

Rated estate (2011 guide) 2 stars (These very large estates, often blessed with fabulous terroirs, are must-haves which, thanks to their consistency and the excellence of their production, deserve a place in the cellars of discerning wine lovers).

About wine:

A lovely nose of fresh pineapple, clean and pure with a beautiful quality of liqueur and very precise fruit. While the elegance of Barsac is never lacking, this vintage is quite supple, more delicate than full-bodied, more restrained than voluminous on the palate. At this stage, it does not fully reflect the energy of the Barsac limestone.

About the estate:

"Denis Dubourdieu masterfully vinifies grapes that are always harvested with precision, at the moment when noble rot offers the best compromise between sugar richness and aromatic finesse... The wines display a purity and elegance that make them all the more sought-after, especially as prices remain reasonable."

About wine:

On the nose, delicate aromas of lemon zest and dried apricot, both creamy and honeyed. On the palate, a beautiful freshness, lively, with rock-water purity, and a long, smooth finish that carries you away.

About wine:

What elegance and subtlety in this bouquet! It displays a chalky side as well as inviting notes of chestnuts, candied lemons, and flowers. Subtlety and finesse are also omnipresent on the palate. The wine has charm, precision, and a structure that perfectly carries the aromatic character through to the finish. A wine that perfectly balances the present and the future. 2023-2044
