The two brothers, Hervé and Patrick Lamothe—who also produce red wines—run this low-key yet highly recommended family estate. The vineyard spans the appellation’s four communes, comprising a mosaic of 80 different plots, some of which contain vines over 100 years old.

About the wine:

This 2022 vintage, which is exceptionally rich and indulgent, was aged for 18 months in barrels (50% new oak) and is made from 85% Sémillon grapes grown on old vines (60 years old). Subtle and fresh on the nose, with aromas of yellow fruit, flowers, and candied citrus, the wine opens to a rich, smooth palate with subtle vanilla notes, but above all crisp fruit (apricot, exotic fruit). The fresh, peppery, and briny finish masterfully rounds out the tasting experience. 2026–2038

About the wine:

Golden color. A rich, complex nose evoking ripe apricot, pineapple, and Montélimar nougat, with hints of roasted peanuts and honey in the background. Enhanced by delicate floral notes and a subtle hint of spice. On the palate, it is opulent, with a distinct sweetness and the characteristic flavor profile of botrytis. It has excellent length.
