"Perfect balance, lively acidity and remarkable texture. Definitely excellent value for money! ~ Wine Advocate "
"Superb, multi-faceted bouquet with notes of roasted almonds, hazelnuts, pineapple and peaches. Dense and delicious on the attack, the wine is linear and powerful. It stands out for its balanced, elegant character against a backdrop of vigor. An exceptional wine with an interminable finish. It has a long future ahead of it, but there's nothing to stop you enjoying it in its youth, as it's delicious" (Yves Beck 2023).

Bettane & Desseauve
Domaine rated (2015 guide) 2*Stars (A serious and recommendable production but a little more regular and homogeneous than the previous one)
About the domain :
The two brothers Hervé and Patrick Lamothe, who also produce gravel wines, are at the head of this discreet but highly recommendable family estate. The vineyards are spread over the 4 communes of the appellation, with a mosaic of 80 different plots, some of which are over 100 years old.
Guide Hachette des vins
Wine rated (guide 2025) 2*Stars (Outstanding wine)
Domaine rated (guide 2015) Awarded wines (The wines of this producer are regularly awarded by the guide)
About the wine:
18 months of barrel ageing (50% new oak) for this gourmet 2022, 85% of which comes from 60-year-old Semillon vines. Subtle and fresh on the nose, with scents of yellow fruit, flowers and candied citrus fruit, it opens onto a rich, suave palate, subtly vanilla-flavored, but above all crunchy with fruit (apricot, exotic fruit). The fresh, peppery, iodized finish is a masterful conclusion to the tasting. 2026-2038
RVF - La Revue du Vin de France / Guide des Meilleurs Vins de France
Wine rated (2026 guide) 94/100
About the wine:
Rich but not devoid of elegance and remarkably pure, 2022 is still a little "balled up", with a tactile sensation of viscosity that takes precedence over aromatic expression.

Tastingbook - Markus Del Monego
Wine rated (2025 guide) 94/100
About the wine:
Golden color. Rich, complex nose reminiscent of ripe apricot, pineapple and Montélimar nougat, with notes of roasted peanuts and honey in the background. Enhanced by fine floral notes and a discreet hint of spice. Opulent on the palate, with distinct sweetness and typical botrytis character. Excellent length.
