"Perfect balance, lively acidity, and remarkable texture. It’s undoubtedly excellent value for the price! ~ Wine Advocate"
“A superb bouquet that shines with its complexity, featuring notes of toasted almonds, hazelnuts, pineapple, and peaches. Dense and rich on the palate, the wine is linear and powerful. It stands out for its balanced and elegant character, set against a backdrop of vigor. An exceptional wine with an endless finish. It has a long future ahead of it, but there’s no reason not to enjoy it while it’s young—it’s absolutely delicious!” (Yves Beck 2023)

Bettane & Desseauve
Rated estate (2015 guide): 2*Stars (A solid, recommendable wine, though slightly more consistent and uniform than the previous vintage)
About the estate:
The two brothers, Hervé and Patrick Lamothe—who also produce Graves wines—run this very low-key but highly recommended family estate. The vineyard spans the appellation’s four communes, comprising a mosaic of 80 different plots, some of which contain vines over 100 years old.
Guide Hachette des vins
Wine rated (2025 guide) 2* Stars (Outstanding wine)
Rated estate (2015 guide) Award-winning wines (This producer’s wines regularly receive awards from the guide)
About the wine:
This rich and indulgent 2022 vintage, aged for 18 months in barrels (50% new oak), is made from 85% Sémillon grapes grown on old vines (60 years old). Subtle and fresh on the nose, with aromas of yellow fruit, flowers, and candied citrus, the wine opens to a rich, smooth palate with subtle vanilla notes, but above all, crisp fruit (apricot, exotic fruit). The fresh, peppery, and briny finish brings the tasting to a masterful close. 2026–2038
RVF - La Revue du Vin de France / Guide des Meilleurs Vins de France
Wine rated (2026 guide) 94/100
About the wine:
Rich yet not lacking in elegance and remarkably pure, the 2022 vintage is still a bit "closed," with a viscous texture that overshadows its aromatic expression.

Wine rated (2025 guide) 94/100
About the wine:
Golden color. A rich and complex nose evoking ripe apricot, pineapple, and Montélimar nougat, with hints of roasted peanuts and honey in the background. Enhanced by subtle floral notes and a delicate hint of spice. On the palate, it is opulent, with a distinct sweetness and a character typical of botrytis. It has excellent length.
